Coming back to school after being absent is always... a little tense? You never know what you are going to come back to. Thankfully I had a very competent and thorough sub.
I spent my day bouncing between kid issues, catching up with classes, touching base with advisees, and connecting with staff members about all of the cool stuff I learned at NCETC. The coolest part was the response from my Jacobs class--they've created their own blog! (Thanks, Jessica!) And the elective that I co-teach with Leon also now has it's own blog. Plus, I used my wikispace in Pre-Algebra 4th period to kick-off our Geometry unit.
Spent last night putting up the tree--got a great deal and a perfect tree. More later.
