Here we go! I've just sent out emails to all parents to inform them about the new blogs. If you are seeing this message on this page for the first time, welcome! Here's a summary of what I sent out:
Coming off the tail-end of the tech conference in Greensboro and learning about all the new wonderful technologies out there, I've decided to try out using a blog to keep a chronicle of what goes on in Pre-Algebra/Math 5 as well as serve as a way to keep you informed of class happenings. I hope in the future the postings on the blog will serve as the current emailings I send out during the week.
What makes using a blog incredibly cool is the ability to use Web 2.0 technology with it--this is what is called RSS (or Really Simple Syndication). For more information on why this works better, see this website: http://www.whatisrss.com/. In the coming weeks I'll do my own write up and send it to you.
